How we build
How we choose problems
We decide what good looks like before we build anything.
- Start with a real problem, and whoever it hits hardest.Understood by listening first. What's needed isn't always what's asked for.
- Define the outcome. We describe what changes for the user once the problem is solved. That outcome becomes the measure of the product.
- Build in service of that outcome.Every decision is weighed against it. If it doesn't move the outcome, it doesn't ship.
Working this way earns trust, and it keeps every product pointed at the good it was built to do.
Our principles
- Doing good and doing well should point the same way.A product earns from the value it delivers, so every bit of good it does makes it stronger.
- Trust is earned, never assumed.Every product asks for something: time, attention, information. We ask only for what the outcome needs, and we treat what's given as a responsibility.
- A product should be what it says it is.There's no gap between what we promise and what we deliver. The easiest path through a product is the right one for the user.
- How we build matters as much as what we build. The reasons behind every decision matter, not just the result. A product is only as good as the choices that made it.
What we build
We're in the business of building products measured by the good they do for humanity.
Legit
- The problem
- Scam texts, fake videos and slick ads are getting harder to spot. Americans over 60 lost $7.7 billion to reported fraud in 2025, and you can't be on the phone every time something looks off.
- The outcome
- Your mom or dad forwards it to Legit, and knows what they're looking at before they act on it.
Scannibal
- The problem
- Most of what we eat, drink and put on our skin was made by someone else, and what's inside isn't always easy to see. Few things matter more than what goes into your body.
- The outcome
- You understand what's in front of you, and make choices that fit your health and well-being, and those of everyone you care for.
